Field Trials are an integral part of the GCF. They have been included to ensure that there is confidence in the operation of Products in the operational network environment. Field Trials provide the possibility to verify interworking operation and may include new features in various operational environments from the point of view of the end user.
GCF Field Trial Qualified (FTQ) status is achieved by an Operator following their agreement to provide information and support to Manufacturer or Associate Manufacturer Members enabling the performance of Field Trials on their network infrastructure.
