Isabel Rosa brings extensive industry and testing experience
Isabel Rosa has joined GCF as a programme manager. An engineer with over 20 years’ experience in mobile communications, Isabel has been closely involved in technology generations all the way from 2G to 5G NR. She has worked in a number of industry sectors for companies including a device maker, a chipset vendor and a test equipment supplier. In each case, she worked closely with mobile network operators, building a comprehensive understanding of the market.
Isabel’s most recent role was as product manager for a 5G NR RF conformance test solution. She was previously a technical consultant acting as a delegate to 3GPP’s working group on Radio Access Network standardization for 4G protocol and radio resource management (RRM) testing.
Through her past roles, Isabel has gained a detailed understanding of the 3GPP conformance tests used for GCF certification and carrier acceptance testing. She has also become a familiar face to many of GCF’s members.
Isabel’s initial responsibilities at GCF will include the GCF Work Item process and support of the Conformance, Field Trial and Performance Agreement Groups, as well as the Connected Vehicle Work Stream. Isabel will also represent GCF at relevant industry fora and events.
