The embedded world Exhibition & Conference (9-11 April 2024) is the world’s premier event on the embedded systems topic. It brings together researchers and developers, industry and academia from all disciplines of embedded system development and drives the development of complex systems of systems and its manifold innovative aspects.
The embedded world Conference in collaboration with Global Certification Forum (GCF) is calling for proposals for a special GCF session.
The GCF has been shaping the communications industry since 1999 with mobile technology at its core. With more than 350 members from the major mobile network operators, device manufacturers, and the test industry, GCF works to ensure interoperability between standards-based devices and networks, as a key part of our vision to enable the reliable and secure communications demanded by professionals and organisations worldwide.
The special GCF session shall give an overview of the recent trends in the field. The special topics of the GCF session will include:
- 5G NR application in IoT/M2M systems
- 5G NR Light (5G Reduced capability or RedCap) application in IoT/M2M systems
- eSIM/Remote SIM Provisioning evolution for distributed IoT devices
Challenges, evolutions and tools for testing interoperability of non terrestrial cellular IoT (3GPP NTN NB-IoT) devices
Challenges, evolutions and tools for testing interoperability of cellular mmWave modules (5G FR2) and host systems
