- Ensuring product compliance to standards and interoperability between systems for migration.
- Global Certification Forum (GCF) Certification is an important step towards achieving end-to-end service verification & functionality, reducing the time & cost for Mission Critical Operators to onboard and integrate new MCX products and solutions, and to prevent critical issues in the field that may lead to a compromised service offering.
Chairperson: Lars Nielsen, CEO and General Manager - GCF
Speaker: Harald Ludwig, Chairman Technical Forum, TCCA

- The Global Certification Forum enabled Mission Critical Services (MCS) as part of its certification program in June 2024 enabling the market to prove compliance with 3GPP MCS.
- MCS operators, and service providers, can now be confident that certified products will meet the required quality to enable successful integration in a multi-vendor mission critical services ecosystem.
- Sweden has been actively working to support, develop and facilitate MCS certification and now hosts the world's first GCF Mission Critical Communications Operator (MSB as MCCO), recognized Test Organization (AstaZero as RTO) and Assessment Capable Entities (Ericsson as ACE).
- Highlighting the importance of certification to enable next generation mission critical services.

Focus Forum MCX Testing & Certification
Discussing the MCPTT certification launch; ongoing work to establish an Interoperability test program; progression of server-side certification
This Focus Forum will briefly present the status of the mission critical MCX product certification program, including the launched MCPTT certification, ongoing work to establish an Interoperability test program and the progress on the server-side certification. We will then go step by step through the necessary activities from the point of view of a vendor to certify its MCX product. We will also – from the point of view of a procurer – present the necessary step to include specific texts into the tender documents to require a product certificate. Participants will have the possibility to ask questions at each step.
Speaker: Asif Hamidullah, Head of Certification - IoT & Verticals, Global Certification Forum
