Business continuity update April 1st 2020

With the increased global impact of the coronavirus pandemic, GCF has activated the next phase of its business continuity plan.

As all manufacturers and test organisations are following the advice of local governments to work from home, and with regional travel restrictions, GCF certification testing has been impacted. In order to mitigate the effect and to ensure continuity of certifications, measures have been put in place and communicated to all members.

All physical meetings are now e-meetings and web conferences until the end of August, taking place as close as possible to the originally scheduled meeting days. This therefore does not impede the working groups in progressing all GCF certification programmes.

Participation in events and external meetings is also cancelled until the end of August, with any interaction between new partners and stakeholders to take place by conference call.
